Knowing

Incase you didn’t know, I don’t like movies that involve the end of the world. And this was one of them! It’s about a girl that can tell when disasters happen. And she wrote down all of the dates of when they are going to happen. 50 years later, the girl is dead and every date she wrote down has happened. And a guy finds the dates that are yet to come! It would spoil the movie if  I said anymore. Watch it? Yes! Not suggested for kids under ten. It is kind of creepy at times! I’ll give it a 3 out of 5.

Airforce one

This movie is titled a classic in my book. It’s about the president riding with his family in his plane (airforce one) and they are having just the loveliest time when suddenly a bunch of the people on board hold everyone on the plane hostage. While they think the president escaped in the escape pod, he really stayed behind to kill the evil terrorists. Will He succeed? Or is this the end? IIt is an “R” rated film so it’s not suggested for kids under twelve. I’ll give it a 4 out of five. This was a Spectacular Movie!

Alien vs. Predator

When I was looking on the box of this film, I saw it was rated pg-13 for violence and all of that. But what really caught my attention is that it said slime on the rating. And BOY does this movie have slime! Enough slime you could get sick! The storyline is predators come from space and aliens that hatch from eggs on earth. So they get into a war at some arctic place on earth. But a bunch of humans that our exploring around that area get caught in the middle of it! And I’m sad to say but some, (ahem) ALOT, of the humans die. This is a gruesome film. Not suggested for kids 11 and under. I did enjoy it after all. I’ll give it a 4 out of 5 rating.

Star Trek 2009

People said this movie was great. And I agree with them 100 percent! One thing that was really cool is that they had the original Mr. spock from the old star treks. And just incase you didn’t know this, this star trek takes place as the movie before the first movie. I’m sorry If that doesn’t make sense. It’s basically the story of how spock and the captain meet and become friends. Now that I’ve seen this movie I’m a total star trek nerd, and want to see all of the movies!!! I’ll give this movie a 3 and a half out of 5.

The Patriot

This movie is so classic! What made it so good was it really gave me a taste of what the Revolutionary War would look like. I definitely recommend you watch this! But I do not recommend it for small children under ten. But it is a pretty light movie for an “R” rating. Once again I’ll give it a 4 and a half out of five. It just barely missed my mark of a five star movie.

I,Robot

This one of my new best movies! It’s one of Will Smiths greatest. This movie is about a guy (Will Smith) who lives way in the future. Pretty much everyone except Will Smith have robots. So anyways, At the beginning of the movie a doctor commits suicide. Then Will comes up with the idea that a robot killed him. Everyone says “No way!”. But is it true? Watch it to find out! This movie is probably in my top ten favorites! I’ll give this movie a 4 and a half out of 5. Any movie with Will Smith I usually Great!

Terminator Salvation

The Sci- fi action and how this movie works is just downright amazing! The main storyline is robots destroying all of the humans. I can tell you no more, because it would spoil the movie. So basically I liked this movie, the only downside is it was a little bit dark for me. But I wouldn’t let that stop anyone from seeing it! It is is a quality film, and is worth seeing. What makes this film a quality one for me is that it is so cool to see and hear the effects of the robots. That just totally blew me away. Though I felt like I didn’t like it at first, after a while I had a different feeling. I’ll give this movie a 4 /5 movie rating.

The Day The Earth Stood Still

Since this movie came out I thought I would like it. And It turns out I do like it! This movie does not have much action. But it is just so cool and mysterious. The aliens and the suspicion and what’s going to happen just thrilled me! I’ve heard this movie did not get that good of reviews. So I’m gonna give it a good one. What is it about you may ask? Well, one night a scientist was just chilling at her house, when suddenly someone calls her on the phone. When she answers, there is a guy telling her to be ready, because the cops will be at her house soon. She is is wondering why, ( so she asks when the cops come) “Am I under arrest”? ” No” replies one of the police. So they take her into a car, and the scientist asks ” Why do you want me”? “I don’t know replies the cop. “All I know is that they have shut down the highway to get you there as fast as they can”! Watch it? Yes! I’ll give this movie a 4 out of five.

Get Smart

This movie was a letdown for me. I’ve heard great things about it. Yet when I watched it, It was not as appealing. I say the first half was just average. But the second half was way more funny. The main story is a person who works for the secret agents, and also wants to become one. So he finally gets the job and lots of hilarious stuff happens.  Though it was not as funny as I would have hoped it would be, I still enjoyed it, and liked it! I’ll give this movie a 3 and a half out of five rating.

Sherlock Holmes Faces Death

Like the last movie review this is another old movie, made in 1943. It’s basically your average Sherlock Holms movie. There’s a murder, and Sherlock comes to investigate. Though it was very dull in my taste it had a few funny quirks that made it all worthwhile. Watching this movie will give you a taste of what an old fashioned mystery film is like. On blockbuster online it said it was the best Sherlock Holms movie. I’d give this movie a 1 and a 1/2 out of 5.
